RECARO KIO car seat- safe and comfortable travel for your child from the age of 3 months to approx. 4 years

With the RECARO KIO child seat you can travel with your child in the car without any worries right from the start. The RECARO KIO reboarder is installed on the rear seat with just one click with the Avan/ Kio Base ( separately available ). The Avan/ Kio Base can already be used with the Avan infant carrier.

The RECARO KIO has 5 reclining /sitting positions for forward and rearward facing. The very flat reclining position allows your child to sleep comfortably, especially on long journeys. The position can be easily adjusted with just one hand. Optimised side impact protection ( ASP- Advanced Side Protection ) offers maximum protection. The side integrated protectors can be folded out quickly and easily on the doorside, energy absorbers reduce the force the force that would act on your child in a possible side impact. The smart 5-point harness system with HERO harness guide ( prevents the harness from twisting / slipping) supports safe and easy buckling up of your child. The belt buckle tilts forward after the child is removed and remains in that position. This prevents your child from sitting on the belt buckle when being replaced in the seat. The coated straps prevent irritation of the baby's sensitive skin and also reduce heating of the straps on hot days. Openings on the outer shell and mesh inserts in the seat cover ensure optimal air circulation. The height-adjustable headrest allows individual adaption to the growing child. The memory foam contained in the headrest is extremely comfortable for your child and has an additional impact-absorbing effect.
